Jayne E. Schooler, is a national and international trainer in the field of adoption and foster care. She has been recognized by a number of state and national awards. She is the author/co-author of six books in field of child welfare including her newest: Wounded Children, Healing Homes: How Traumatized Children Impact Adoptive and Foster Parents. Jayne’s international work takes both her and her husband, David regularly to Ukraine, Kyrgyzstan, and Poland. Recently, two of her books have been translated into Russian and Polish. She and her husband are parents by birth and adoption and she holds a Master’s Degree in Life Issues Counseling.
