I want to take a StageWise Parenting course. What do I do?
To search for a specific course or webinar or to see listings of all our offerings, click the education tab at the top of the page. Select whether you are looking for a parenting or adopting course to be taken to the appropriate catalog. Use the filters or the catalog search field to narrow your choices. Click on the class, webinar or package you are interested in to go to the product page where you can click “Enroll.” You’ll be asked to log in to your StageWise Parenting Account. If you are a new user, you’ll be asked to sign up and create a unique username and password. Once you are registered and logged in, you’ll be able to take check out and take the class or webinar from stagewiseparenting.talentlms.com.
I already have an account. How do I access my coursework and certificates, and other account information?
Click on the “My Courses” button on the top right hand section of our website.
My partner and I both need certification. Can both of us be listed on the certificate if we take the course together?
Each certificate of completion can only include the name of one registered user. If your agency requires certification from both individuals, each person will need to create their own account, purchase the course separately and complete it individually.
When each parent learns and reflects on their own, they internalize the material more deeply. This gives couples the opportunity to compare answers, explore different perspectives, and have deeper discussions — preparing them more fully for life as parents.
Do I need to be affiliated with an agency or organization to take a StageWise Parenting course?
Not at all! You can take classes and webinars wherever you are in your parenting or professional journey. If you are working with an agency or company, you have the option to fill in your organization name in the “Agency or Organization” field. Otherwise, you can leave that section blank.
How much do the classes and webinars cost?
The fees for most of our classes and webinars range from $10 to $48 each. Visit our course catalog for specific pricing information.
How do I pay?
You can pay online with a Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Discover. Our online payment processing is done through a secure third-party website. We do not accept checks nor take credit card information over the phone.
What is your refund policy?
StageWise Parenting will refund individual classes and webinars that were purchased within the last 30 days and have not been started/launched. Individual classes or webinars within a bundle are the exception. These cannot be refunded nor other classes/webinars substituted. If no class or webinar in the bundle has been started, we can refund the entire purchase of the bundle.
If you need a refund, please email info@stagewiseparenting.org your name, date of purchase, and the class, webinar or bundle you need refunded.

I forgot my username and/or password.
If you forgot your password, and your email address has not changed since you registered, click I forgot my password on the log in screen.
If you forgot your username, please contact us at info@stagewiseparenting.org.
Note: DO NOT CREATE A NEW REGISTRATION — even if you cannot remember your username and password. This will result in multiple accounts and your account page will not be accurate.
I need to change my registration information.
You can edit most information directly through your account page bylogging into stagewiseparenting.talentlms.com and selecting “My Profile” at the top right hand of the screen. If you want to update your password, click the “Change Password” button.
How long do I have to take a course?
You will have 30 days after purchase to complete your course.
How do I successfully complete a course for certification?
- Amount of time spent in course should be equal to or greater than the credit hours granted for the course
- Completion of all required sections of the course
- Successful completion of the post test
If these criteria are not successfully met, you may receive a request to retake the post test.
Certificates, once issued, are immediately available on your account page. Please download them within 30 days of completion of the course for your records.
My adoption agency needs a copy of my certificate.
It is your responsibility to provide the certificate to your agency. Once your certificate has been issued, you may download the file and forward it on to anyone who needs it. You can also print the certificate and mail or fax it to your agency.
Can I use my iPhone, iPad or other tablet, or mobile device to take courses on the StageWise Parenting platform?
Yes, our courses are mobile and tablet friendly! However, we recommend that you take them on a desktop computer or laptop when possible.
What are the technical requirements for StageWise Parenting courses?
To access StageWise Parenting courses, you will need a computer, tablet or mobile device with access to the internet through a web browser like Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Apple Safari, Microsoft Edge and Microsoft Internet Explorer (version 7 or newer).
